Are bag searches in operation?

It is Alban Arena policy to search bags on entry. If you’d prefer not to have your bag searched please don’t bring a bag as failure to allow a bag search will result in denial of entry.  Regrettably we don’t have storage facilities for bags on site.

Question 2

I am a CAMRA member - do I have to pay to get into the Festival?

Wednesday and Thursday are free otherwise we charge a small admission of £1.00 to CAMRA members.

Question 3

Is there a cash machine on site?

Accepted Answer

Sorry, but there is no cash machine on site. There are several banks nearby and pass-outs for 20 minutes are available should you need to use a cash machine.

Card payments are possible at the entrance, tokens and glasses stand.  A cashless tokens system operates on the bars.

Question 4

Do you sell no/low alcohol beers?

Yes, these are available.  Please ask at the Bottled Beer Bar in the foyer for availability of these and other soft drinks.  There is also some low alcohol beers available the International Bottled Beer Bar.

Where can I find out about allergens in your products?

Accepted Answer

For beers and ciders please ask at the bar where the product is being served from – where we will be able to advise. The food vendors are all independent operators and all should display allergen information.

Question 6

Can I bring food or drink into the Festival?

Accepted Answer

There are a range of hot and cold food stands at the Festival however you may bring your own food into the Festival if you prefer. Sealed and unopened non-alcoholic drinks are also allowed, such as water and canned drinks. Alcohol is not allowed to be brought in – if attempted, items will be confiscated or entry refused.
